Added support for MPEG/L3 (MP3) audio.
Added "Use 448kbps AC3" option, for decoders that require it, 640kbps is the default.
Added "Use Old File Format" option (uses M2TS container like the old versions).
Restored "Output File Extension" option.
Fixed MKV file deleted + parse error if source is in a subfolder of the destination.
Fixed loader.exe deleted by some anti-virus scanners (false detection, there was no virus).
Fixed AVCHD mode transcoded all 720p files even if its not needed.
Fixed freeze/crash/error when output directory is a FAT32 file system.
Fixed check boxes in config tab looked strange on some windows themes.
Fixed progress bar not working in second stage of PCM transcoding.
Note: If you get green bar in AVCHD, press "Top Menu" on your remote.

Now you're fast... Here I am getting an update (2.4.1) and then after reading the forum about updates from last version, and complaints and or problems. I then restart "mkv2vob" to find a new version (2.4.2) that addresses these complaints/problems... Within Minutes! AWESOME!!! Great work and thank you for this WONDERFUL tool...!

thanks for the update. this is easily the best mkv2vob to date and the new 'avchd' are great.

has anyone experimented with the 'avchd-usb' mode yet, by trying to add multiple film folders or is it just not possible?

the program is great.

It wont do multiple movies/mkv's in a avchd.
That is a possibility for the future, i know how to do it but automating it is not easy.

just copped and the main thing for me was the loader which has been sorted.

plus there's so many new things - will anyone be doing like a optimum tut for this version?

can I now output and split to my fat32 ext HDD without problems? I would try but I dont seem to have anyhing on my pc to try it with

yes i tested it with fat32 hdd and it works.

what about seperate movies in their own folders?

ie?

movie 1/avchd

movie 2/avchd

etc
