V2.4.4 Beta 2 15/Feb/2009
Added DTS can now be played from file without transcoding to AC3 (Disc/Streaming). *
Fixed DivX not recognized as valid.
Fixed Drag and Drop not recognize ts files.

V2.4.4 Beta 1 11/Feb/2009
Added support for MKV with XviD/DivX video.
Fixed AC3 skipping/stutter on some decoders.
Fixed Drag and Droping a folder with "delete folder" checked may delete wrong folder.
Fixed Drag and Drop not recognize rar files.
Fixed "Error Transcoding Video" on MKV missing bitrate flag.

* Only 1536kbps DTS supported.
768 will not work (maybe in future).
Thankfully 1536 is far more popular and all blu-ray use this.
Do not change any audio settings in the ps3 that effects audio playback.
The PS3 must pass the DTS untouched.
The options when you press triangle must be Audio: Left + Right and Volume: Normal.

very nice. confirmed working with DTS-ES as well..

wait, may have spoke too soon. PS3 is showing 2 channel LPCM, although my dts light is lit. I only have 2 satellites, 1 center and 1 sub hooked up so I'm not sure if it's feeding the back channels. I definitely have center working with front left/right and sub tho. Should be good.. probably just the PS3 misreading.

Wow! But how did you do it? I thought it was impossible for the PS3 to play DTS from a file. Awesome work!
It tricks the ps3 into thinking its playing PCM.
But the decoder recognizes the DTS.
Excellent work!
The only thing lacking from the files now are soft-subs! Keep up the good work, one day you will figure how to make it work.

I can confirm that:-) The DTS light on my Onkyo receiver lit up all right. Usually it doesn't, of course, because the PS3 is doing the decoding and outputting it to the receiver as MultiPCM. Worked like a charm.
Awesome 3r1c trying it out now. I was able to use PCM, but keeping the file sizes down is much better.

I assume when the program is "Patching DTS" it's not transcoding in anyway, just changing headers or something?

edit: I can confirm it's working great! One thing to note though, like the PCM conversion method, the files won't work on your PC after muxing. PCM just outputs white noise on the PC, the DTS trick outputs nothing at all. Just a heads up for anyone who converts their whole collection.
Yes it adds PCM headers, no transcoding.
The only way to play the sound from these files is to pass the stream untouched to a audio decoder.
It also will not work if your ps3 is not set to "bitstream" (this is the default) or if you are using red/white cables.
Your PC is probably trying to decode it as PCM.
