Hi! I´m new here.
First of all i want to thank you for making this software possible, it is amazing.
Secondly i´d like to ask you something:
when you create a usb-avchd folder and play it on the ps3, the bitrate of your video file gets notably reduced and the resolution of the screen adjusts to the resolution of the file(for example my file is 720p and my screen is in 1080p, and the screen turns to 720p).
Is there any way to avoid this? Mainly the bitrate, the resolution is not a big deal and i don´t think it can be changed.
Thanks in advance!

My video bitrate is not reduced, how do you notice that?
Resolution thing is PS3 dependent.

I noticed it because i did both things with the same file and when i play the avchd folder and press select, i see that the bitrate is around 4mbps vb, whereas in file mode it is around 9mbps vb.

Was the file transcoded in both modes?

However i´ve tried it further and i think it might have been an impression of mine, the bitrate may be the same but being variable confused me, i just had the impression that with file mode it varied around higher numbers. Check it yourself, but i think it was just an impression.
Sorry to alarm and thank you!

I thought so.
So in AVCHD mode you have original bitrate because file was just muxed, in file mode, after transcoding, it can be higher.

Is it possible to have more than 1 mkv file on a avchd, e.g to 720 cartoons on same disk.
could i create the avchd with just one then convert the second to m2ts and rename it to 000002 and put in stream foldr
